I was at a restaurant getting takeout last night, and I was looking to do a contactless payment. I enabled NFC on my phone, and the password prompt came up after I tried to tap, which happens from time to time if I've enabled NFC after the Google Pay app is open. However, this caused the terminal to freeze completely. The cashier had to reset the payment amount to allow me to tap again.
