I purchased a $25.00 Verizon Gift Card online yesterday. The pending charge shows VERIZON as merchant. Nothing yet on the credit. I will update. I also want to see if paying by gift card invalidates the autopay discount. If it does not, then I will pay with gift cards in the future in order to get points for my monthly bill.
Any news on this? I don't want to move my payment from the Ink Preferred due to the cell phone insurance (on four iPhones), so was hoping to build up some gift cards for eventual later phone upgrades purchase.
