Sad business news as Alberta & B.C. Army & Navy stores closed temporarily since March will remain closed and disappear from the retail landscape. I recall the store in Saskatoon from my younger days and its ancient wooden escalator but heard it closed a number of years ago. The Edmonton location right on Whyte Ave. in the heart of Old Strathcona will leave a hole for what could be a while as it could be hard to find a new business for the large lot given these tough times.
