Lodged a chargeback against a certain refund-averse well-known Irish LCC via the Amex web site. Took 5 minutes. Provided no supporting documentation at all.
48 hours later the account was credited and the case marked as closed.
Maybe I was lucky but based on that experience I would not hesitate to do the same again.
