correct me if i'm wrong:
from what i understand, doens't 100megabit ethernet means a 100 megabit per second throughput, which also equals 12.5 megabyte per second? if that is true, then gigabit ethernet would means a 1000 megabit per second throughput, which also equals 125 megabyte per second? wouldn't that be on par with the throughout of most HDs out there?
