IMHO the issue is not the posting of tech related news, but where is the proper home for it really is.The purpose of the Travel Technology board is to discuss travel related tech issues. The type of posting that doc is doing is far more suitable to a techie BB, not FT. People that frequent the Travel Technology board are for the most part there to have their tech questions that are travel related answered, not to read tech news. If I wish to see daily tech news alerts, I can go to any number of websites that are dedicated to that subject matter.

This is not an attack on doc as I have absolutely no grudge to bear against him. This post is being made as a private poster, and not as a moderator.
