Four nights here on award, last week of April, Our Year of COVID-19 and murder hornets.
Only one floor being used. Unable to access suite nite award as all suites are shut down, ostensibly for ease of housekeeping, which was weird because there wasn't any. No bar or food service so we did take-out from the places at the mall across the street. ZinBurger was the best. You can set up a table outside for dinner, or eat in the lounging area in the entry. Pool obvs closed unfortunately because the hot days and nights really cried out for an evening dip. Oh well.
The room felt not much different from any other business-class hotel aside from the plastic cow skull lamp and copper plating on the ceiling with a few pithy quotes etched in it. Parking was free and wherever you could find of make space out front, due to very low occupancy. AC was pretty noisy and blew right in my face all night despite adjusting the louvers in the outlet. Could not get the TV to work with ipads or fire sticks, but was able to use the Netflix app built into the set. The room wasn't that spacious and the two of us were always in each other's way.
Not sure I'd go out of my way to stay there again if I'm ever in the area. Usually parking is $35 a night which is big-city downtown pricing and not worth it. High parking fees are usually a reject for me; I can't spend more than $150/night for work and a decent downtown hotel might squeak under that, but parking pushes it over the edge so sadly, nope.
