Surely right now airlines should be forced to cap capacity at x% and try to keep some distance, just like every other service provider on the planet right now.
To your point about informed decisions I know far too many selfish adults that would have flown all over the place, drank in bars, etc. not worrying about catching the virus. Fair enough but the risk is me or my loved ones catching it from them. We all have a responsibility not to spread it so if I have to travel anywhere I would be prepared for 2 weeks quarantine on each side of the trip.
