2) 5K TYPs for $1K 90 day spend
I took neither offer. Will call back during weekday to try to lure the $95 stmt credit for $95 spend offer
Attempted retention via web chat (no offers), then via phone retention and received the same offers as above.. I ended up opening a 2nd Premier card ($95/60K TYP SUB), then transferred the TYP points balance from card 1 to spouse to buy 90 days (rather than 60 days) to transfer the miles to whichever airline loyalty program is the healthiest 90 days from now. Closed card 1 via webchat immediately after confirming the miles posted to spouse account.
