Interestingly I just received a generic email from LH


Compulsory masks on board
It is not always possible to maintain the required minimum distance of 1.‍5 metres during a flight. As of Ma‍y 4, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on all your travels with Lufthansa. This is in line with the official regulations of numerous countries that now require face masks to be worn in public.
