I beg to differ... (not that I have my own kids), but 2x I was there, there were always kids among the Chinese groups (not wanting to categorized - just stating the fact). I think they were the minimum age allowed to the resort. But I've seen them joining the different activities, camel ride/sunset trip, falconary and afternoon dessert ride.
Also at the main swimming pool (and the last trip at their own pool).
For me 2-3 days is still OK for the kids to have things to do. Surprisingly, their parents do try and make sure it is educational for them from what I observe...in my opinion very lucky kids to have such an experience at their age (heck even for any teenagers lucky enough to experience it).
