Fully agreed - Nicolas was one of the better Aman GMs and was always innovating. I spoke to him last week as well. Very sad to see him leave, but seems there are larger issues at Aman going on here and a shame. They need more GMs like Nicolas who value the guest and are keen to create new experiences, ideas, and innovations. Great for Joy, but would have been better to have both of them running properties within Aman.
Yeah, it seems like there are constant conflicts within Aman nowadays. I do think the owners play a huge role in these matters as well. Sometimes, it can just be issues between Owners and GMs. But agree with you and hope to see Nicolas elsewhere soon!
