AZ suspends the last direct flight ITA-US
AZ 609/610 is gone as of May 6
Mother was on the May 10th AZ609 for repatriation, flight but is now stuck in the US. She would not be able to run the risk of a connection flight given equally problematic situation in France and UK and doubtful connecting options.
Hopefully its is true June 1st they’ll resume at least this one flight (she is rebooked then)
My fear is that this is a move towards selling the slots and that blaming the crew for not willing to ho to JFK is just an excuse
