I have a similar problem with 2 weeks+ of vacation booked with Travel Package and points certficates - the hotels have all gone up in category. The trip is in late summer and it is looking like it may still be impossible to travel there at that time. If Marriott does not extend the Travel Package certs beyond next January (I already have another trip booked then as well) and allow us to reattach the TP cert to the same hotel even though it is already been raised in category I am going to be in a very bad spot with regards to the use of my TP in particular.
