Whenever a company tells me "We'll issue you a voucher" I ask them "How much is the voucher worth after you declare bankruptcy?" , they never reply and issue the refund.
Next time maybe also ask them: Ok, i will pay my next flight with a voucher, too - surely ok for you, right ?
