This morning I went out to one of my discount markets and they had USDA Prime grade beef briskets for 2/$60 or one for $45, but while I was there, they said they needed the freezer space and marked them down to $20/each. I bought two and I have no room for either of them.
I went there for precooked bacon packages (30-35 slots for $6), and Skinny Pop popcorn for them by the case. I may get beef ribs tomorrow too.

My folks refuse to cook, so they want the bacon regardless of social distancing and they really don't like sides I prepare. I guess they are used to years of the overly salty rice/pasta box mixes. While the both love carbs, I made baked polenta for them, and while they often ordered grits at a restaurant, polenta was BIG a miss. I put parm and feta in it too and they love them some cheeses.
I would stock up on brisket at that cost.
