Consistency !!

This is the most frustrating aspect of being a frequent stayer, or frequent flyer or frequent anything !!

McDonalds have got it right, no matter where you go in the world, they always serve the same food, it's crap, but it's consistent !! You know what you are going to get.

I stayed in Bonn, Germany, recently (as a Gold) and was told "no breakfast for you". I argued the point as I have stayed in Hilton's all over Europe and others in Germany and this was the first time that a Hilton (without a Club Lounge) had told me that I wasn't entitled to complimentary breakfast ... they relented and I got the free breakfast that I should have got.

Bottles of water, snacks, fruit baskets, chocolates, bottles of wine, gifts ... the list goes on. Sometimes you get more than you think, sometimes less.

My way of dealing with the inconsistencies .... lower your expectations !!
