Virgin's Pacific Blue says it will take a fresh look at its possible entry into the New Zealand domestic travel market after the appeals period is over for a possible Air New Zealand/Qantas alliance.

Such a move is all but dead after the High Court yesterday upheld a Commerce Commission ruling that the alliance would be anti-competitive.

Pacific Blue says it had issues initially about an alliance, but the wrangling around it has been going around and around for so long that the company has become ambivalent about it.
