Ah, you did not say that you would be travelling with someone who is currently not permitted to enter Germany. In this case I doubt she would be permitted to board the plane. I just spoke with the German Bundespolizei and explained our situation. They confirmed your initial statement that this flight is a Schengen zone flight and therefore no border control would be done at FRA. They did not mention any checks at the gate however I see how that could be possible. As she is moving with me and plans to take up permanent residency in Germany I think the gate agent would allow it if they check (it is not for tourism).
