Is there a question regarding "troll guidelines?"
Randy,
Sorry to bother you when you should be enjoying your birthday (Happy Belated Birthday!), but I have asked a few times about a stronger policy about what constitutes intentional trolling on flyertalk.
I hadn't seen an answer yet, but it seems that some on flyertalk have chosen to resort to old tricks and intentionally undertake actions that they have repeatedly known to be disruptive and cause battles on flyertalk.
Now, normally, this sort of thing is done for sick, personal enjoyment, but in the case of the recent activity on Travel Technology (described by several as posting diarreah), it seems to be out of protest. Why else would someone who almost never visited Travel Technology take a sudden interest in disrupting that board? Particularly after posting clear signals that he disliked certain moderators of that forum and simply will not rest until they are taken care of to his satisfaction.
Sadly, this trolling has gone unanswered, since to answer would be to feed the beast, and I'm still waiting for some guidelines that define and punish the intentional disruption of flyertalk.
Most importantly, I sincerely hope that the aforementioned remarks will be seen as "constructive" in some manner, for that is certainly how they were meant!
Thanks again!
