Thanks attorney 28. I wasn't sure If I asked the question properly myself based on your answer of 80 Euros. I couldn't agree with you more, and would definitely prefer to take the taxi all the way from the airport to the hotel rather than do S-Bahn/U-Bahn and taxi with kids and luggage.
Just so I understand -
Airport to Olympiapark, round trip: ~80 Euros (or ~40 Euros each way)
LHBus to hauptbanhof + taxi from hauptbanhof to Olympiapark, round trip: 48+30 = 78 Euros.
Based on the above, it definitely means take the taxi! Let me know if I got this right, and thx again.
