Hopefully the skies were friendly! I for one really liked the battleship gray livery. I still miss the tulip since that’s what I grew up with.
in the mid to late 80s I remember Delta planes in PHL looking horrid. Peeling paint/nose cones/etc. the hodgepodge of UA liveries for many years was quite confusing from a marketing perspective.
