My wife applied for the World Elite MasterCard, and the companion voucher and $350 WS dollars were deposited into her account a couple of days ago. I tried booking the flights we want (YYC-HUX roundtrip
in Feb 21), but I keep getting a Payment Error message when the booking tries to finalize. I know it’s not the payment card, as I have tried a couple of them.
Anyone have any insight as to what might be causing this? Do we need to wait 48 or 72 hours for the system update before using the voucher? I also tried without applying any WS dollars, and that didn’t work either. I did reach out to WS via Twitter, but they were of zero help, and advised me to call in (and to use the time on hold to do dishes, or have a coffee and watch birds in my yard

Any tips that could avoid 95 minutes on hold to do something that should be easily achievable online would be appreciated.
