Most RTWs are with an alliance - either One World or Star Alliance. There are other RTWs that are put together with various combinations of airlines but generally more restrictive. If you take a look in the One World and Star Alliance fora you will find a heap of advice and suggestions, plus useful ideas you may not have considered.
