I would agree with that assumption but in actual fact, since I almost never check in with a real person, the challenge would come at the gate from a FA who wouldnt know they are challenging a platinum flyer (I don't use vanity tags). All this to say, dragging my fat suitcase behind me, I look as much a platinum as I do an ivory flyer.
I just think the FA strike when they feel like it. And they mostly don't.
Yes exactly. I actually have the tags on my carry-on, especially to avoid these situations (I realise this doesn't help the OP
), but I've not seen AF making big deals out of regular looking suit cases.
