Of course I should have specified that at my current rate, I'm not really staying enough to qualify for most programs elite status other than when they do some "lite" promotion - just got such an offer from Hilton for silver status. I used to have Platinum on Marriott but that was a fluke year. Now, I'm at about 10 stays a year pleasure and maybe the same on business, so partner programs and promotions are key for me. With this said, would you have a recommendation about whether to consolidate, or wait until a vacation is on the horizon? Still some time left, but I know the Amex-->Marriott transfer ends at the end of this year, so I feel like I have to decide on that and therefore Hilton. So I guess I'm looking for thoughts on if you'd consolidate and do it into Hilton with no elite status opps on the horizon?
