I have also noticed by searching for 'direct' flights rather than those requiring a connection is also more likely to return results. For example search for MAN-LHR and then a fresh search for LHR-SIN. rather than MAN-SIN.

You should also set the 'Connection Preference' to 'ANY'

Search results are erratic, sometimes true results are returned whilst at other times they are not.
