Even including cargo, CX's entire fleet is small. CX is not exactly in a good position to bargain.

Even FR can get better discounts than CX.
While far behind EK, CX is among the top 5 airlines operating 777s..
And I strongly doubt that the negotiating experiences of the past will apply in the coming months/years.
