Also, there’s the possibility BA will axe some holiday routes for this whole season. At the end of the day people may not want to holiday abroad and it may be better off to not run some routes, especially as the 80/20 rule is off till October.
No one knows the answer when would flights to holiday destinations resume and when would Greece open their borders for tourists.
But, currently, as it seems, BA wants to fly ( they have a very wide May schedule that would operate compared to other airlines ) so if there is demand and there are no restrictions at that time BA would fly that route.
As some enterprises have banned company-related travel for a while, BA could shift to leisure routes during the late summer period.
