Since the purchase is not ready yet (at least no FAA certification), so a delayed date for delivery is not an issue. But a lower price? Never at all.

Even including cargo, CX's entire fleet is small. CX is not exactly in a good position to bargain.

Even FR can get better discounts than CX.
