There's so much uncertainty with all of this, it's really difficult to guess how long the effects on travel will last. It's one thing allowing people to travel, but the other is will they want to and how long will that feeling last?

Mass antibody testing hasn't yet materialised in the UK. Last thing I read was that the test the authorities here planned to use was deemed to be unreliable. The WHO stated in the last couple of days that "Right now, we have no evidence that the use of a serological test can show that an individual has immunity or is protected from reinfection." If this remains the case, it's worrying.

Due to the nature of the symptoms I had a couple of weeks ago, I've most likely had Coronovius, although figures seem to suggest only 2-3% of the population have been infected. I also wasn't tested and recovered at home.

I have/had two trips for May, then Jun, Jul, Sep, Oct, Nov, and Jan 21. At present I'm thinking the earliest one might be Nov at a push. As the pandemic is likely to have a big impact on travel for quite some time, with all the associated difficulties of social distancing that brings, I'm currently not very optimistic regarding air (not just air) travel until the point that a vaccine is widely being used.

It really pains me to talk about this subject. I truly cherish my trips, but I of course can see issues regarding potential second waives, so I'm now more unsure than ever. Clarity will come in time as things progress, I hope.
