A lot of WA/SA/NT [and even TAS connecting through ADL] pax wouldn't mind going LAX-HNL-PER I'm sure, and people could then use the follow on PER-SIN-LHR or PER-BKK-LHR or whatever to access the rest of the world.
Maybe QF needs to consider that not everyone wants to endure 13 hour plane rides in one go.
How about LAX-CNS-PER and MEL-PER-BOM-LHR ?
Make arrival in CNS early enough to connect wherever
on the first morning flight. Avoids BNE/SYD/MEL

for all those west of the dividing range
And avoids SIN the other direction. And it would appear BA might be able to offer a code share....... with their new flights to India...
But then PER seems to be last on the scheduler's list.
Would I take a PER-LHR non-stop? Only with no other options - including staying in Perth.
I flew LAX-HNL-CNS J a long long time ago.
Alas before FF plans were popular. And I did get accustomed to the stopovers in BAH.
