Stick with the exit row, you won't feel any additional leakage that you wouldn't from a Boeing/Airbus jet. The non-MCE seats lack legroom, for someone like myself (6'2) my knees hit the back of the seat. Go for 11A as it is a solo seat with a small amount of extra legroom. 1A isn't bad, even when sitting there with the door open in winter, if boarding from a jetbridge, as there is a wall in front of you and the heat usually on blast, but you also have to put your personal item a few rows back, and lack under seat leg room.
