I have a policy with Coverwise that is underwritten by AXA, and I renewed in March because the renewal notice had the following wording "Following extensive consultation with our insurer, AXA, we are pleased to inform you that all trips you currently have booked are covered for cancellation that is both necessary and reasonable due to coronavirus (COVID-19). " It will be worth a phone call to AXA I think.
thanks Kona. Mines coverwise too. I made a mistake with the date though. I was looking at the date it was issued, not started. The policy actually ends two days after our outbound flight lol, so part way through the holiday.

I will renew it as soon as possible
