Best was in the original 747. As far as I can recall, BA had a cocktail bar on the upper deck of the 747 (first class passengers only). This would have been in the late 1970s. About the same time, Pan Am used the upper deck as a restaurant (I seem to recall it was called "Restaurant in the Skies") for their first class passengers, reservations had to be made prior to travel to ensure a table.

Unfortunately, I don't have seating plans for either aircraft.
