Personally I find people with long lists here rather sad... each city has something, however small, to offer - so deserves at least the chance of an overnight stopover!

beachmouse said, it generally isn't by choice (although some are). I could look to extend my trip to spend a day there, but then it would be myself on my own, rather than being there with Mrs Toothy. I'd rather be at home.
