Back in the 1960s, Eastern Airlines used to offer a First Class service called Famous Restaurant Flights. This menu is from a Philadelphia to San Juan flight featuring cuisine from Philadelphia's Old Original Bookbinder's Restaurant. Imagine having settled into your plush First Class seat aboard an Eastern DC-8-61 and, after having gratefully accepted a welcome aboard cocktail, are presented with this menu for the three hour and twenty minute flight. Life aloft was much nicer back then...
