With the news that a BA A380 has damaged the tarmac at Châteauroux airport, it got me thinking: What’s special about Châteauroux Airport?

Does it have similar geographical properties to the Mojave aircraft graveyard? Tried doing a Google search but did not find satisfactory results. Wondered if folks on this forum may have the answer.
