Data point here: I made the mistake of requesting Chase via the web portal to cancel an Alaska ticket just a few days before Alaska canceled the May flights. The flight was purchased all with UR points. I kind of wanted to push for a refund if I could get away with it even though my timing was off by just days. I pushed Alaska and they were pretty rude about it but I wasn’t surprised. One good thing about my various calls to Alaska is that I ended up getting a phone number to Chase travel which was answered in under 3 minutes and the agent immediately refunded my UR points. That was awesome and kudos to Chase for stepping up and taking care of this.
