When an e-mail address is changed, Chase's computer will automatically send an e-mail notification of that change to the previous e-mail address.
I received it. I called Chase within 20 minutes of receiving the email (the minute I saw it). Since this was after 6pm EDT, their identity fraud dept was closed, but I was on the phone with the normal fraud department (which does NOT have the ability to lock Ultimate Rewards accounts) as many of my points were being redeemed for gift cards in real time.
When an physical address is changed, Chase's computer will automatically send a postal mail notification of that change to the previous physical address.
A letter may arrive today... 2 days after my points were redeemed. It wasn't there last night. Not sure how the letter will help me... maybe a keepsake to show grandkids, or idea paper for a book I could write?
How is it you received neither?
Quite possibly will have received both. On a positive note, all points were returned to my account today. Not sure if my experience is a reason to buy FL or short JPM
