It all went fine. Got to Frankfurt this morning!

When checking in in Atlanta the lady required to see the Meldebescheinigung but didn't question it cause it was in German.

Before the lufthansa flight they were actually checking all the documents again. This time the Meldebescheinigung wasn't enough but I pulled out the tax ID letter and it served its purpose.

Arriving in frankfurt this morning I expected the most difficult part of the journey. However, once it was my turn the guy looked at my Meldebescheinigung and I told him my story. To confirm it he wanted to see the Standesamt documents. After that I was allowed to pass
