Quick update. After a few unsuccessful attempts to get to a live chat Allstar, I finally got someone and according to advice from
siw I ensured first that it was not a robot. After discussion I was informed that the refund was no longer an option and that I had to pick between change in date or voucher. I refused and politely said I paid for a flight and the flight was cancelled therefore the choices were not acceptable: I would like my money back. I thought they would just say sorry cannot do, but to my surprise I was told that they would escalate to see if refund would be approved. One week later I received an e-mail telling me that my request was approved and that I could submit my bank details by e-mail for the refund. So right now it looks like I will receive the refund, but I have been advised that it will take several months. I suspect they are in a cash crunch right now so they'll only be able to refund customers when money starts flowing in again.
