I realize everyone's perspective and circumstances are different. Personally, I don't see airline status as equivalent to an EF subscription, since the former must (usually) be earned by flying, something that's impossible now, while the latter is a service that continues to function, albeit of more limited value currently. So I don't see it reasonable to ask EF for give subscribers a free year. Frankly, at $100/year, the dollar cost isn't too significant anyway. That said, if EF were to decide to extend subscriptions by an extra one to three months (maybe only annual subscriptions, since monthly ones can be paused already), that would obviously be a goodwill gesture that would garner praise and probably lead to increased subscribers.
