Hotel programs often allow pooling/transfer.

Hilton used to open up family accounts but I believe they have suspended this practice ... many lucky HHonors members are grandfathered in IIRC.

Starwood allows transfer between accounts with the same address.

Priority Club allows transfer between any two accounts, but for a fee ($5 per 1000 pts).
