Contemplating about my trip in August. Wanted to try NEO and managed to book it, however I have a feeling that I won't get it Of course its a long way and equipment might change too.

Connection is short and not much place for any delay. In my opinion they won't bother to wait me (for DL145) and will put me on next flight directly to YVR (most likely KLM681) which will land in YVR even earlier. I was thinking to give a call few days before the trip and asking if they would like to put me on bud-ams earlier flight to make sure I make the connection. I am more counting on generosity on the airlines as I know about outbound segment discussed in this thread.

Another option is to try to change to NEO on the way back after first segment is flown as at the moment I have all KL for inbound.

So far scanning delta app from time to time, but nothing pops up as I am not from those lucky ones able to modify
