Sorry for the delay, I have been ill since coming back(Thankfully not Corona)
The starting point was EDI.
It was with a real travel agent based in London.
The extra paid to go home was because they offered a flight through DOH -EDI we were scared of getting stuck in DOH and asked if we could go with British Airways and the extra payment was for "Taxes"
