Slightly similar experience (but didn't report it), new FA, first came to each of us in FC to say thank you for flying, and there would not be a regular service, she could only offer a canned beverage (juice, water, beer) but then served all the uniformed employees in FC and in Main the regular FC meals on trays. She almost forgot to offer us the snack basket (I think one of the employees reminders her gently). What I really appreciated though was the passenger behind me went online and proceeded to do a video chat on their phone. It got annoying when the passenger started talking louder. When an employee in FC (across from me in 2F) saw me turn around and ask the passenger behind me to please talk quietly, they flagged down the FC FA, and brought out the rules book to show the FA that video chatting (FaceTime or other app) is not permitted, it is text only. I really appreciated that they knew, clarified for the new FA, and the combination of the two got the passenger behind me to stop talking so loudly on her phone. This was on 3/23 and I think it was a combination of newness on the part of the FA, and being in an airbus when more used to being on the 737, and an odd work environment due to the changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
