hi, need some help on how to approach AI. We have a family tickets to London for mid may purchased through miles. My father and mother are both patients of blood pressure and there is no way we will be risking to go to UK in the current situation. I am left with 2 scenarios the first assuming AI extends the free cancellation to end May, if they re deposit my miles , the same expired in December and I am pretty sure AI is not going to extend the same, would love to be corrected if they will make exceptions. In the second scenario they start flying I believe I am looking at potential loss of all miles as cancelling the ticket would be losing it and changing the ticket is not feasible until it can be for next year summer. Almost all international airlines have a much more flexible and clearer timelines defined than AI, this is so frustrating. Any suggestions.
