I want to point out this comment from Delta, as it's very important and something we should reference, if/when we ever have a reply from United about the 2020 program:
In addition, all of your 2020 Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) will be rolled over in 2021.
What this likely means, if we translated it to the United program, is 2020 qualifying spend would be pushed to 2021, so everyone hits 2021 with a head-start and they are essentially calling 2020 a total wash-out as if the year never really existed (a wish I am sure many of us share for a variety of reasons).
My interpretation of this, would be a customer who earned $10,000 in PQF up to the end of Feb when crap hit the fan, would start January 1, 2021 with $10,000 in PQF already accrued - this would be huge and definitely sets a high bar for United and American to choke themselves on.
