I have mixed feelings about the crews actions on this flight that ended up cancelling, this flight appears to have been an extra section or charter(flight 2820) the crew had to have known prior to the flight that this was a special flight, now if the crew raised the red flags when they were assigned this trip is one thing and UA should have warned the crew being assigned that this was a one off flight and it would include certain passengers, but if they had second doubts about flying the trip at departure time time is just wrong. also local news was reporting that everyone has been reaccommodated on another ua "charter" tonight out of san fran ua2839 and this flight will include passengers off another cruise ship as well all around bad situation and this may have well been a charter between holland and united to get those folks back to oz.
